Ordering Process

At Tifa Cake Seattle, every cake is handcrafted with care, from design to delivery. Due to owner's busy schedule, we are now only accepting custom cake orders with a minimum of $150.

Here's how the ordering process works:

1.Submit an Inquiry

Send us your cake request through our Custom Cake Form or Instagram DM.
Custom cake order minimum: $150
(This applies to all custom designs and all cake sizes, including 6" cake.)

2.Quote & Design Confirmation

Once we receive your details, we will:

Review availability
Confirm design details
Provide a custom quote (starting at $150)

Your order is reserved only after deposit is received.

3. Secure Your Spot

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to book your date.
Final balance is due 3 days before pickup.

Late payments may result in cancellation due to a full schedule.

4.Pickup or Delivery

You can choose:

Pickup

Pickup in Renton 98058 (Tifa LLC is operated in a shared commercial kitchen, address provided after order confirmation).
Please transport cakes on a flat surface in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Delivery

Delivery is available for an additional fee. Rates are based on distance, time and date. $2-$3/mile. We are currently not delivering to location requires ferry.

Changes
No changes to size, flavor or decoration within 72 hours.

Refunds & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable, but will be applied to your order as a credit in the event that a change of date occurs due to family emergency.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide full refunds or exchanges of custom cakes. Once a cake has been delivered it is considered “accepted”. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it’s “accepted”.

Payment

We accept major credit card payment. (2.6% transaction fee, prices shown are tax included)

A non-refundable $50 deposit required to secure the date, and remaining payment is due 3 days prior to pick up.

TiFa Cake is currently sharing a commercial kitchen in Renton Refresh House during their non-business hours, so no walk-in available. All products are pre-order only.

It depends on the time of year. Summer is the busiest season for weddings in the PNW, so weekend dates from June through September usually require at least 3 months’ notice along with a deposit. During non-peak months, smaller custom orders can often be accommodated with about 1 week’s notice.

No matter the season, I recommend reaching out as soon as you know your date. A deposit is required to secure your booking, and dates may become unavailable once they are filled.

All our Cakes are made with chiffon cake and buttercream with ingredients sourced from local groceries.

We don't do shipping, but we do Delivery!
